It is with great pleasure that we present the gallery's second solo exhibition with new works by Lars Englund.
Lars Englund has with great integrity explored the sculpture medium for over half a century. His impressive career includes exhibitions at MoMA P.S 1, New York, Guggenheim, New York, Galerie Ileana Sonnabend, Paris, Galeria Foksal, Warszawa, the Venice Biennial, Moderna museet, Stockholm, Nationalmuseum, Stockholm and Rooseum, Malmö.
Englund is represented in the public sphere through a long series of public works in Sweden and abroad.
He was awarded the Swedish Art Fund's major prize 2010.
Sweden's Public Art Association (Sveriges Allmänna Konstförening, SAK) has appointed Lars Englund to make the first prize in their annual nation wide lottery. The work will be shown in the gallery in conjunction with the exhibition.
