Working artistically since 1967 Marie-Louise Ekman is a very well known profile in the Scandinavian art world.
Her work is presented all over Scandinavia and known for its sharpness, wittiness and its great preciseness by describing human behavior in every day life of modern societies. Marie-Louise works with a large number of materials such as textiles, ready made, oil and gouache, glass and wax.
She has designed sets for opera houses around Europe, directed several films, written many radio plays and toured with exhibitions of her work in many museums and galleries all over Europe.
